What You’ll Learn
We work onsite with partner districts to support the implementation of Student-Centered Coaching across K-12 settings. This includes focusing on the core practices for Student-Centered Coaching as well strategies for establishing principal and coach partnerships. As an evidence-based instructional coaching model, we also work with districts to develop systems for measuring the impact of coaching on teaching and learning.
How You’ll Learn
Onsite support typically includes six to eight days of consulting work across the school year. While we design these sessions to meet the needs of the district, we recommend the following: professional development focused on coaching practice, anchoring the learning in one or more books on Student-Centered Coaching, coaching labs to practice coaching in schools, working with the leadership team to create a vision for coaching, and engaging in discussion, reflection, and problem solving. Please note – in the era of COVID-19, we are able to adjust between onsite and virtual sessions as is demanded by the current school environment.
Getting Started
Onsite consulting is arranged with school districts and pricing is available upon request. Session dates are determined by the consultant and district. Please contact us at dan@dianesweeney.com for more information.
