WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Recommended Audience: This workshop is well suited for instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders who are new to Student-Centered Coaching. We also encourage school and district teams to attend together.

Location: Denver, Colorado (DoubleTree Cherry Creek, 455 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246, discounted hotel rooms available)

Dates: August 22-23, 2022

Price: $480 per person. All registrations include lunch both days.

Registration: Opens on March 1, 2022. Space is limited; no groups larger than 12 please.

Presenters: Authors Diane Sweeney and Leanna Harris will be presenting this two-day workshop along with their team.

Recommended Books: The Essential Guide for Student-Centered Coaching (Corwin, 2020), and Student-Centered Coaching from a Distance (Corwin, 2021).

Lodging: Discounted rooms are available at the DoubleTree Cherry Creek for $154 per night plus tax. Room reservations include one breakfast both mornings – additional breakfasts can be purchased for $15 upon check-in. (The hotel has agreed to offer these discounted rates on the front and/or back end of the workshop if you’d like to stay an extra day or two.) 

Travel: The workshop ends at 2:30 p.m. on day 2 (August 23, 2022). Please allow 45 minutes of drive time to Denver International Airport when making flight reservations.

Refunds/Cancellations: Workshop registrations canceled on or before May 31, 2022 are refundable and subject to a $25 administrative fee. Registrants canceling on or after June 1, 2022 and before July 1, 2022 will receive a 50% refund. Registrations canceled after July 1, 2022 can be used for one of our self-paced online courses. All registrations can be transferred to another person. In the event that we must cancel the workshop due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will refund the cost of registration. However, we do not assume responsibility for any costs, charges, or expenses incurred for travel and lodging.

Leanna Harris

Leanna Harris

Leanna Harris has worked in the field of education in a variety of capacities for over 25 years. She worked for several years as an elementary classroom teacher in the Denver area. She then brought this experience to the larger educational setting as a consultant and staff developer with the Public Education & Business Coalition (PEBC), and later as a school-based instructional coach across grades K-12.

Diane Sweeney

Diane Sweeney has been a national consultant since 1999. After teaching and coaching in the Denver Public Schools, Diane served as a program officer at the Public Education and Business Coalition (PEBC) in Denver. Since then she has become a respected voice in the field of coaching and professional development.
