WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Recommended Audience: This workshop is well suited for instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders who are new to Student-Centered Coaching. We also encourage school and district teams to attend together.

Location: Downtown Denver, Colorado (Auraria Campus – Turnhalle, Tivoli, 900 Auraria Pkwy, Denver, CO 80204)

Dates: May 19-20, 2022

Registration: Begins November 9, 2021. Early bird price is $450 per person (ends December 21). Regular is $475 per person. All registrations include a light protein breakfast and lunch both days.

Presenters: Authors Diane Sweeney and Leanna Harris will be presenting this two-day workshop along with their team.

Recommended Books: The Essential Guide for Student-Centered Coaching (Corwin, 2020), and Student-Centered Coaching from a Distance (Corwin, 2021).

Lodging: Lodging: This Marriott SpringHill Suites is a five minute walk to the workshop location. Many other downtown Denver hotels are a 10-15 minute walk. Options include: The Curtis (Doubletree), Courtyard MarriottEmbassy Suites DowntownHome2 Downtown (Hilton), or Homewood Suites. The workshop is on the Auraria Campus and the address is: 900 Auraria Pkwy, Denver, CO 80204.

Travel: The workshop ends at 2:30 p.m. on day 2 (May 20, 2022). Please allow 45 minutes drive time from downtown Denver to Denver International Airport when making flight reservations.

Refunds/Cancellations: Workshop registrations canceled on or before February 17, 2022 are refundable and subject to a $25 administrative fee. Registrants canceling on or after February 18, 2022 and before April 1, 2022 will receive a 50% refund. Registrations canceled after April 1, 2022 can be used for one of our self-paced online courses. All registrations can be transferred to another person. In the event that we must cancel the workshop due to Covid-19, we will refund the cost of registration. However, we do not assume responsibility for any costs, charges, or expenses incurred for travel and lodging.

Leanna Harris

Leanna Harris

Leanna Harris has worked in the field of education in a variety of capacities for over 25 years. She worked for several years as an elementary classroom teacher in the Denver area. She then brought this experience to the larger educational setting as a consultant and staff developer with the Public Education & Business Coalition (PEBC), and later as a school-based instructional coach across grades K-12.

Diane Sweeney

Diane Sweeney has been a national consultant since 1999. After teaching and coaching in the Denver Public Schools, Diane served as a program officer at the Public Education and Business Coalition (PEBC) in Denver. Since then she has become a respected voice in the field of coaching and professional development.
