Level 1: Foundations for Student-Centered Coaching
Level 2: Deepening the Implementation of Student-Centered Coaching

Our Student-Centered Coaching workshops are for instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders. We recommend that school and district teams attend together.

Choose between two levels:

LEVEL 1: Ideal for those who are new to Student-Centered Coaching.

LEVEL 2: Recommended for participants who have attended our Level 1 workshop, or those who have partnered with Diane Sweeney Consulting through onsite work or other sessions led by our team.

WHICH LEVEL IS RIGHT FOR ME?

LEVEL 1:
Foundations for Student-Centered Coaching

Designed for educators who are new to Student-Centered Coaching, this Level 1 workshop introduces the foundational practices that define this approach. It is ideal for instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders who want to establish a shared understanding of what effective coaching looks like.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Implement the core practices for Student-Centered Coaching, including the use of coaching cycles
  • Explore tools for measuring the impact of coaching cycles on teacher and student learning
  • Develop strategies for launching, scheduling, and sustaining the coaching work

LEVEL 2:
Deepening the Implementation of Student-Centered Coaching

This Level 2 workshop is designed for participants who are ready to expand their implementation of Student-Centered Coaching by strengthening their use of our core practices. The focus will be on deepening skills, refining coaching moves, and fostering a sustainable culture for coaching within schools and districts.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Deepen their use of the core practices for Student-Centered Coaching
  • Set meaningful goals to continue growing in their coaching role
  • Engage in reflective feedback that stretches and refines their coaching practice

Criteria for attending Level 2:

  • Participants have completed our Level 1 Student-Centered Coaching workshop or have engaged in onsite consulting with our team
  • Instructional coaches, administrators, and district leaders who are committed to advancing the impact of coaching in their school

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

DATE: June 1-2, 2026

PRICE: $570 per person

LOCATION: Denver, Colorado – 455 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246.

PRESENTERS: Diane Sweeney, Amanda Brueggeman, and Brandon Lewis are presenting both days of this workshop.

BOOKS: The workshop will reference a variety of texts on Student-Centered Coaching, and these materials will be included in the digital handouts. Participants are also welcome to bring their own copies if desired.

LODGING: Discounted rooms are available at the DoubleTree Hilton Cherry Creek for $159 per night plus tax. A link will be provided after registration.

MEALS: Each room reservation includes one breakfast both mornings. Additional breakfasts can be purchased at check-in. Lunch is included both days for all participants.

TRAVEL NOTE: The workshop ends at 2:30 p.m. on day 2 (Tuesday, June 2). Please allow 45 minutes of drive time from the hotel to Denver International Airport when making flight reservations. Plan on arriving at the airport two hours before your flight.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: Workshop registrations canceled on or before March 27, 2026 are refundable and subject to a $25 administrative fee. Registrants canceling after March 27, 2026 and before April 30, 2026 will receive a 50% refund. Registrations canceled after April 30, 2026 can be used for one of our self-paced online courses but are not refundable. All registrations can be transferred to another person. In the event that we must cancel the workshop due to circumstances beyond our control, we will refund the cost of registration. However, we do not assume responsibility for any costs, charges, or expenses incurred for travel and lodging.
