On Tuesday, we wrapped up our annual workshop in Denver, CO! Hosting 130 participants from 28 school districts, state departments of education, and other organizations kept us on our toes.

This time, participants were provided with the second edition of Student-Centered Coaching: The Moves, which anchored our learning. Here are some highlights from the two days:
In Level 1, we…
- Developed a foundational understanding of the philosophy and core practices for Student-Centered Coaching
- Explored what strong principal and coach partnerships look like
- Practiced using coaching logs and conversations that impact student and teacher learning
- Planned how we could organize and schedule coaching cycles in a way that authentically engages teachers
In Level 2, we…
- Learned moves for staying asset-based in our work
- Explored practices for building collective efficacy, as well as what gets in the way of efficacy
- Refined our use of the core practices for Student-Centered Coaching
- Set goals using the Rubric for Student-Centered Coaching
- Practiced strategies for reflective dialogue

We’d love to see you at a future workshop. We host workshops annually in Denver as well as in other locations. Check out our upcoming events page for more information on upcoming opportunities to learn together.
